It's Aunt Jann. I am so thankful to you 'kids' for creating this blog so those of us who can't be with you can be updated regularly. BJ and I have also talked twice since the accident. This will give him a break from the phone so that's another good aspect of the blog as well.As you know I experienced this identical life tragedy with my own brother, Brad, back in 1979. So I can honestly say that I KNOW EXACTLY how all of you are feeling. I am so happy that there are so many of you to give one another love and support.Brad, BJ and family are on two prayer chains and in the prayer petition book at St. Cletus parish in St. Charles, MO. There are hundreds of people you've never met or will never meet who are praying for ALL of you, but especially for Brad. Please tell Brad that I'm sending my love. My thoughts and prayers are with him and all of you every day. xoxo

This is Becky and Don Mills. We are Chris Mills' parents. We heard about Brad through Chris who went to the hospital last week with a couple of Brad's friends and spent some time with everyone. Becky and I, and Chris' sister Sarah, certainly are praying for Brad's healing and recovery. And for God's wisdom and gentle care for and from the doctors, nurses, and hospital staff in general. Also God's stregnth, peace, and understanding for all of Brad's family. This not only for the present but also for the coming time of waking up, but also for the recovery time afterwards. I know that Brad's friends are very concerned and would and will do anything that's needed or asked. His family only needs to let them know, I am sure.
I am Chris' dad. In 1992, I fell off the roof and crushed my right heel. I was taken to Kennstone Hosp where I was essentially kept 'asleep' for 2-3 days (I think). The only reason I mention this is that there were several who came by to visit. Though I could not participate, I knew family and visitors were there and that it meant SO much! Keep interacting with Brad, play, joke, read, talk, just be there. He knows you're there and it is important for him to not be alone. He is blessed to have such a loving and caring family!!!
